Hello I'm Pamela,
an End of Life Doula
An End of Life Doula is a person who provides assistance, guidance and support to those with a life limiting diagnosis/prognosis or those folk who are heading towards end of life. It is a non medical role. The doula will also support the family, friends and care givers before, during and following death. Based in NSW Australia, I service the Wingham, Taree, Nabiac, Old Bar and surrounding areas.

"Pam ‘doula’d’ a close friend from diagnosis to death. She attended treatments with him and helped him to have a voice with the medical profession. She helped him get his affairs in order of which he was particularly grateful for and she was with him almost constantly in his last days – tending to his needs, liaising with the palliative care and community nurses, gathering his community and was with him for his last breath. Pam consistently showed great compassion towards him, his family and friends. I would definitely want her to be by my side at the end of my life – she seemed to make it so natural and sacred."
